James Wancho, PE
Vice President, Water Resources
Mr. Wancho is the Principal in Charge of the Water Resources Services Department at PS&S. He is responsible for the management of projects related to the design, permitting, construction and operation of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities. Mr. Wancho has provided wastewater related engineering services for various public agencies including the Bergen County Utilities Authority, Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority, Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties, Musconetcong Sewerage Authority and various others.
Mr. Wancho has vast experience in preliminary engineering, alternatives evaluations, detailed design, permitting, bidding, and construction phase services for various water, wastewater, and biosolids infrastructure. Mr. Wancho has also been responsible for preparation of NJ I Bank funding applications associated with various water infrastructure projects.
Mr. Wancho is a licensed PE in New Jersey and New York. A graduate of Manhattan College, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering. He joined PS&S in 1988.
